Nikki Moreland PhD, is an Associate Professor of Infection and Immunity and a Principal Investigator of the Maurice Wilkins Centre in the Medical Faculty at the University of Auckland. She has research expertise in humoral immunology and infectious diseases and her team use a range of approaches to study antibodies and their interactions. A major focus is exploring rheumatic fever pathogenesis as a route to identifying disease biomarkers and informing the design of safe and effective vaccines for Group A Streptococcus.
