Lancefield Society Membership

Member Benefits:

  1. Access to the live (& recording) Virtual Streptococci and Streptococcal Diseases Research Update Seminar, 21 June 7pm CEST

  2. Members have the right to attend and be heard at the AGM

  3. Receive the minutes of the AGM

  4. Members have the right to vote for the executive officers

  5. Submit items of business  for the AGM

  6. Vote for resolutions of Lancefield

  7. Have a list of the members (no contact details)

  8. May appoint a proxy. Must be in writing and signed by member.

  9. Access to Members Area of Lancefield Website

  10. Members receive a significant discount on registrations for Lancefield events (LISSSD 2022)

Member Requirements:

  1. Work in the area of clinical Streptococcus, related clinical conditions and research

  2. Must be vetted by member of Membership Committee/Delegate for approval

  3. Once accepted, the new member must pay an annual fee. If joining mid-year, the fee remains the same - there is no pro-rata rate for the annual fee.

  4. Fees to be paid by August 30th annually. Reminder of fees to be sent out July 30th annually.

  5. Members who have not paid will lose the right to vote in Annual General meeting

Membership Fees:

Standard fee (1 year): $50.00 USD

Standard fee (3 years): $125.00 USD

Reduced fee for members from LMIC: $20.00 USD

Reduced fee for trainees and students (must provide evidence): $20.00 USD
