Prof Heike Herwald

Heiko Herwald is currently professor for medical microbial pathogenesis at Lund University, Sweden. He awarded his PhD at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany in 1994. His research interests are focused on essential medical issues such as blood coagulation and molecular mechanisms of importance for host responses to bacterial infection.
